The public action groups engage in a process of prayer, Scripture, doctrine, discussion and action in order to address the immediate needs of justice in society. The goal of the public action groups is to execute transforming social action within the community. The public action groups are:
Opposition to the Death Penalty in Wisconsin - Organizes effort to defeat the implementation of the death penalty in Wisconsin on the basis of Catholic Social Teaching which underscores the dignity of human life from conception through natural death
Consistent Ethic of Life – Focuses on issues and actions related to a holistic view of the dignity of life from conception through natural death and is working to find common ground with right to life organizations.
Parish Liaison - Networks with local parishes as a catalyst promoting Catholic Social Teaching principles, access to education programs and ideas, and CPJ events.
